An attractive English 19th Century Victorian silver plated spoon warmer in the shape of a Nautilus shell on a foaming sea.
I think this piece is a practical object that we are missing from our tables in the present day.
With a strong patinam and makers mark AB (attributed to Alfred Bedford, London) and pattern number (1950) stamped to the base.
Versatile piece which could be used for various functions.
Practically for warming spoons or for planting bulbs in or flower arranging.
